Immediate Release: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

I normally don't announce my publications but this one is special:

The Story:

A couple of month's ago I was contacted by the Creative Director of "The Power Group/ON MAKE MAGAZINE". This group is a group of very high end, creative, and talent make up artist! This group pride themselves, as they should, as a very exclusivel source of talent and strongly supports make up artists, only. So why did he contact me? It was because he as many that per my portfolio, for photography, I have done the make up and hair application. But I'm neither artist, I'm proud to say that I'm a photographer! None the less I took the assignment! Due to limited time, and talent I pulled of one of my most favorite shoots!

Talent List:

Clarence J-MUA

Hair/Grooming/Manicurist- Monet Kittrell

F/Model-Savannah Holladay

M/M- Jonathan Martin

Now, how is this so "SPECIAL", well; Savannah is "13yrs" and this was her 1st professional shoot, and her 1st editorial.

And, Jonathan is the 1st male model to appear in and by the way his 1st editorial as well.

and then there is Mr Clarence... not bad 4 making a debut in fashion industry.

SO THATS HOW ITS SPECIAL!

I'm very proud and honored 2 have been part of this special event!

I know that all of the above talent are on the horizon of a very successful career....

STATEMENT BY MONET:
"I can remember that day so clearly! It was a cold and rainy day in New York. The model agency had just informed me that the model-Helena (MC2), was running a little late because of a casting...My nerves was wrecked, my heart pounding and I thought OMG this is going to really happen! I keep one of those images still in portfolio, because I love it, because it's my 1st, because Helena is beauty, because am grateful, and hell because is RIDICULOUS!"

LOS ANGELES — Christie's auction house will offer up a portrait of Michael Jackson by Andy Warhol in New York on Nov. 10.

The auction house told The Associated Press on Friday that the 30-by-26-inch portrait should fetch an estimated $500,000 to $700,000. It's one of a small group of Warhol silk-screened images of Jackson created in 1984.

The painting depicts Jackson smiling in a "Thriller"-era jacket, with squiggles of red and yellow in his hair.

Deputy chairman Brett Gorvy says the seller is an anonymous private collector in New York who bought it from the Andy Warhol Foundation in the 1990s.

The image is part of 47 lots being auctioned, including two other Warhol paintings.

A New York art gallery sold a similar Warhol portrait of Jackson in August to an anonymous buyer. The gallery would not disclose the price, but said it was more than a million dollars.

Thanks Angelo for a great interview!
One of the questions that was asked that stands out and I would like to share before publication!
"What would I advise anyone that wanted to get into the fashion industry?"
My reply!
Never help anyone that hasn't help themselves first!
If you expect that one of your peeps got your back... They don't... if anything they are trying to stab it!
and I mean NEVER give up your dream!

Its amazing how people in the fashion/beauty industry always wants free: They steal, lie, betray, and are very disloyal! Not all, but many. How do u get around this, how do u remain sound minded, and how do u move on?
1. U don't get around it! U learn, process, and preform... but twice...shame on you!
2. If you love your work then u apply step 1. and remember u make the art not them and that's something they can not take from you...Own your Masters or they will own you...Prince!
3. U move on by continously creating... ONE DAY, ONE DAY, IT WILL BE OVER AND YOU WILL BE ON TOP!

So if ever you think your being played or have been played, reboot, start the game over, and then play the game like a winner not like a component. oh yeah.. for therapy purposes, start a blog, and in your mail server create a folder called: "Fuck U"...it helps you keep track of the DEMONS!... LOL

am tired of this recession shit.. of coarse my sense of timing to break into this career of a photography is classic...i hope my artistic struggle is running adjacent with the recession... if i have to go through this again... well... lets just say... I WANT!...the + side.. at least i have my vision....which btw is on sale at ebay!
